I'm working on a film that involves a lawyer named Greg accidentally becoming a hitman. I've been trying to think of a witty name but so far i'm strapped for ideas. Anyone got any suggestions?

It really depends on how you want the movie to be viewed, I suppose. I suggested Deadly Greg because there was this conflict between "Deadly", which is a dangerous word, and "Greg", which is an ordinary sort of name. The overall sense is a bit of the absurd, like "Ninja Master Chuck".

If you want to play it serious, then look at more serious titles.

I figured you mentioned his name for a reason, instead of just saying "A lawyer that has to become a hitman".

You could also move into variations of camp with such titles as "The Deadly DA" (which uses alliteration and has a nice crispy sound to it) or "Street Justice" which alludes to both being a killer and being a legal person.

I might be wrong, but I think if you're planning to play this a comedy, you might want to go in that direction all the way.

Thanks everyone, i forgot that i post this and that's why i never replied. I ended up picking "Accidental Hitman" after flipping stations late at night and coming across "Accidental Stripper." But I just found out that name was actually proposed by someone when i posted this one another tribe, so the credit goes to him. And yes, it is a comedy.

Well, I really appreciate all the suggestions, but my friend is having the same problem. We are only about 2 weeks from the premeier of his movie and he still hasn't come up w/ a name. I told him i'd ask the ppl on Tribe so, here's the plot overview:

btw, it was inspired by The Departed

There is a gang (the gang has no official name) that the movie follows. They basically run a small suburban town until a new gang (named the Black Hand) tires to move into town. Rivalry ensues and the protagonsist gang endes up getting sold out by one of there own.

The members of the protagonist gang are all really nice guys when not "on the clock" and the film conveys that very well.

The only idea that I have come up w/ that is "Hostile Take-Over" but I'm not the biggest fan of it so any suggestions whould be greatly appreciated.
